The Dharmachakra (Wheel of the law), comes from the Dharma (the nature of reality), and represents the path to attaining enlightenment and reaching Nirvana (highest state of being). It is one of the most important symbols of Buddhism, and represents the Buddhaโs first sermon in a forest in Sarnath, where he set Buddhist law in motion. The Eight spokes on the Dharmachackra represent, Right View, Right Resolve, Right Speech, Right Actions, Right Occupation, Right Effort, Right Mindfulness, and Right Concentration. In the centre of the Dharmachakra on this guitar pick is the Gankyil, โWheel of Joyโ, which is a commonly seen symbol and ritual tool used in Buddhism.
